Owners of Subaru cars insured by Kenya Orient Insurance will now enjoy enhanced benefits including reduced cost of repairs in case of accidents under a deal signed between the insurer and Subaru Kenya.
Under the partnership, Subaru motorists covered by Kenya Orient will now pay less for spare parts, paint works and labour depending on scope of repairs, with up to 30 percent discount on genuine parts. They will also not pay towing charges if the repairs are carried out at Subaru Kenya workshops.
Kenya Orient Insurance Managing Director Muema Muindi said the partnership with Subaru Kenya will reduce cost of accident repairs and delays for the target clientele.
“This is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance customer experience (beyond settling claims on time) through innovative products and partnerships that also grow our business,” said Muema.
He added that Kenya Orient is keen on product innovation to increase its share of the competitive motor insurance market.
In March, Kenya Orient launched a new motor insurance policy with an extended warranty cover dubbed Orient Xtense. The cover compensates car owners in case of mechanical or electrical failure for vehicles less than twelve years and can be purchased as a standalone or added to existing accident or theft cover.
On his part, Subaru Kenya’s General Manager, Anthony Maina, said the deal with Kenya Orient will enable Subaru motorists access better service and purchase genuine Subaru parts at affordable prices.
“Subaru Kenya is proud to partner with a strong and recognized brand, namely Kenya Orient Insurance. Through such strategic partnerships we can now offer Subaru Owners a robust customer experience. Subaru policy holders (with Kenya Orient) will benefit from quality and enhanced repairs through the use of genuine Subaru parts, advanced technology & skilled workmanship at any of our outlets,” said Maina.
