Kenya’s leading recruitment agency, BrighterMonday has announced its employer referral program, a new feature on its platform which allows existing customers to refer their friends, family and colleagues, in a new campaign titled, #ReferandEarn.

The employer referral program allows employers who are already using the BrighterMonday platform to refer counterparts in their network. Upon activation of their accounts, new employers earn credits which can be used towards the BrighterMonday skills assessment tool which test for core competencies and hard skills required for a specific role.

These tests are industry-specific and are curated by experts for different job functions to test a candidate’s proficiency.

The tool usually costs Ksh15, 000 (US $150), however with the Employer Referral Program, new customers get it for free while the existing ones earn credits which can be used for the assessment tool when a referee makes their first purchase on the platform.

Commenting on the new campaign, CEO BrighterMonday Kenya, Emmanuel Mutuma, said over the years, customers on the BrighterMonday platform have shared testimonials on how the online platform has helped improve recruitment processes at their organizations.

“ I believe it is time to reward them by introducing the #ReferandEarn campaign where they can share their positive experiences with other employers, introduce them to a new system of recruitment, while earning bonuses,” said Mutuma.

“Many employers have used our platform and solutions, therefore, it is easier and more believable if they give reviews and refer these solutions to other employers in their network.”

The #ReferandEarn campaign is targeted at existing employers on the BrighterMonday Kenya platform who refer new customers who have not previously used the platform.
