Pay television company StarTimes Kenya has introduced additional consumer products on its integrated e-shopping platform StarTimes GO.

The addition of products to it’s online platform will enable Kenyans access a variety of electronics, beauty products, design, portable gadgets and kitchenware among other house hold items.

This development follows the introduction of a dedicated shopping channel – StarTimes GO that will exclusively broadcast the sale for the different products 24 hours 7 days a week within which viewers will have an opportunity to call, order and have their products of choice delivered at the comfort of their homes or offices.

Speaking on this latest development, StarTimes Regional Marketing Director Mr. Aldrine Nsubuga noted that the introduction of the new dedicated shopping channel will boost the direct broadcast of a vivid shopping experience for the audience which will enable consumers to have a better understanding of each product including features, operation, cost and warranty before confirming an order.

“The dedication of StarTimes GO channel to e-shopping is our way of enriching consumers buying experience as it provides a platform that extends detailed information about each product thereby enabling viewers to make informed decisions,” noted Mr. Nsubuga.

The company has grown the product range available on StarTimes GO beyond their flagship electronic devices relating to digital television.

The product is key towards enriching the channel which will now feature an array of products including water-proof shavers, power banks, Hi-Fi wireless speakers, kitchenware, style and beauty products among other household items.

StarTimes GO will leverage on direct sourcing of third party products available on the channel key towards safeguarding quality and ensuring competitive pricing where upon payment confirmation, delivery will be done within 48 hours.

“Availability of diverse products over and above our flagship digital television products is strategic towards ensuring StarTimes GO is a channel where viewers find a trusted channel to source for different products while enjoying very competitive prices,” said Nsubuga.
