Listed investment firm linked to billionaire Chris Kirubi, Centum, has set Monday 11th December 2017 as the date that it will release cheques for the fifth interest payments to bond holders of its 5 year medium notes.
“Fixed rate on senior unsecured fixed rate notes will paid at 13 percent and senior unsecured equity linked notes will be at 12.5 percent,” said Centum in a notice forwarded to Nairobi Securities Exchange signed by company secretary Loise Gakumo.

In June 2015, Centum issued two medium notes to raise Sh6 billion to fund its growth plans.
The bond matures in 2020.
